One EU Disability Card: freedom of movement for all

For persons with disabilities the EU is not the continent of free movement. At the moment, traveling, studying and working through Europe is difficult, because disability status is not automatically recognised in other EU countries.

Our solution: one strong physical and digital Disability Card recognised in the whole of the European Union.

We demand a card:

1. That gives a common definition of disability, so that in the future the national disability status is recognised in all EU countries and persons with disabilities have access to different social securities. Nobody should have to prove their (in-)visible disability again in another Member State.
2. That gives persons with disabilities and their assistants free access to transport.
3. That guarantees national benefits for leisure, sport and culture for persons with disabilities and their assistants
