One continent, one ticket 🚅

Booking an international train shouldn’t be a full-time job. We all want to choose a comfortable train ride over cramped flights,  but outdated booking systems turn simple trips into bureaucratic nightmares. Why should crossing EU borders by rail require five tabs, three apps, and a prayer?

Get on board our campaign and demand a Single European Train Ticket. 🎫

If you ever have tried to book a train ride across Europe you know it is not an easy task. You need to compare prices on three different websites, all with different conditions. And then some journeys are only available on one platform and not on the other. You could even end up with three different tickets for your journey – and without any guarantee when you miss a connection.

This isn’t just bad luck. It’s the result of a fragmented system where national monopolies guard their data like a state secret and refuse to work with each other, leaving passengers to pay the price.

No wonder that many people just do without the hassle and book a plane ticket.

Buying a ticket for the most sustainable form of transport should be the easiest.

We are fighting for one simple rule: One journey, one train ticket, total protection.

The Greens/EFA are demanding a Single European Train Ticket that forces the system to work for you, not the corporations: All ticketing platforms should be able to sell all journeys within Europe, with full passenger protection from start to finish.

And it looks like years of campaigning is finally paying off – people are waking up. We are trying to convince the lawmakers of the European Commission to come with strong legislation.

The more people join our call, the stronger our voice will be.

So, come on board, put the Single European Train Ticket on the right track so that we can get full steam ahead!
